About Mattias,
Mattias Broström is an experienced craftsman in traditional woodworking and sloyd. His training runs deep: furniture-making, the renowned Sätergläntan craft school, and the Higher Handcraft Education at HV Skola in Stockholm, alongside years of hands-on work in cabinetmaking, prototyping, and tool production.
Today he runs his own workshop devoted to slöjd, woodworking, tool-making, and teaching. Generous, precise, and endlessly curious, Mattias has a rare gift for making beginners feel at home with an axe in hand while still challenging seasoned carvers.
